pregnancy after loss
In my essay “Giving Up the Bump” in the April/May issue of Fit Pregnancy, I talk about my reluctance to give birth – and not for the reason you think. After trying for so long to become pregnant, and then spending the majority of my pregnancy in denial to keep from worrying, I didn’t want to stop being pregnant when the time came to actually have the baby. The baby was the end goal, but it turns out I really enjoyed being pregnant and didn’t want to see it end.
Pick up a copy of the issue (which is actually the last issue of the magazine) on stands today! I’ll include a link when it gets posted to their website.
